LINCOLN — A Johnston man was arrested early Tuesday morning on weapons-related charges following a traffic stop in Pawtucket.
Troopers from the Lincoln Woods Barracks arrested Cannon Stewart, 27, of 5 Jamie Drive, Johnston, at 3:12 a.m. after stopping his vehicle on Smithfield Avenue.
Stewart was charged with license or permit required for carrying a pistol and large capacity feeding devices prohibited.
He was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.
Stewart was released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
