PROVIDENCE — A Cranston man was arrested early Saturday on an active bench warrant following a motor vehicle stop in Providence.
Troopers arrested Sitha Krem, 40, of Cranston, at 12:20 a.m. on Feb. 22.
Krem was wanted on a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a pretrial conference on an original charge of possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance.
The charge originated from the Cranston Police Department.
The arrest occurred after a motor vehicle stop on Manton Avenue.
Krem was transported to Rhode Island State Police Headquarters, where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions – Men’s Intake Facility.
