KEENE — A Keene woman has been arrested after allegedly contaminating items at a local food co-op with her urine and posting videos of the act online.
The Keene Police Department announced the arrest of 23-year-old Kelli Tedford on Feb. 21 following an investigation that began on Feb. 14.
The investigation was prompted by an anonymous tip reporting disturbing videos posted by Tedford, in which she appeared to contaminate products at the Monadnock Food Co-Op.
Upon being notified by police, the co-op immediately removed the affected items and issued a recall in coordination with the health department.
Investigators reviewed multiple videos allegedly posted by Tedford, some dating back to 2021, which suggest similar incidents may have occurred in Keene and surrounding communities.
The Monadnock Food Co-Op reported a financial loss exceeding $1,500 due to destroyed merchandise and cleaning costs.
Tedford was charged with Criminal Mischief, a class B felony, and released on personal recognizance bail.
She is scheduled for arraignment on April 7 in the 8th Circuit Court in Keene.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be filed.
