Cicero police report multiple arrests, including assault and weapon charges

CICERO — The Town of Cicero Police Department reported multiple arrests between Feb. 14 and Feb. 17, including charges related to assault, weapons possession, and larceny.

On Feb. 14, Joseph M. Kairis, 34, of Cicero, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, a class D felony, and third-degree menacing, a class B misdemeanor.

He was arraigned and released with a court appearance scheduled in the Town of Cicero Justice Court.

On Feb. 15, George M. Leroy, 64, of Cicero, was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class C felony; criminal possession of a firearm, a class E felony; driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor; fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class A misdemeanor; unlawful possession of an ammunition feeding device, a class B misdemeanor; and a traffic infraction for unreasonable speed.

He is being held at the Justice Center awaiting arraignment.

Also on Feb. 15, William G. Ryan, 65, of Cicero, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing, both class A misdemeanors, as well as second-degree harassment, a violation.

He was arraigned and released with a scheduled reappearance in the Town of Cicero Justice Court.

On Feb. 16, Kerri M. Zyjewski, 40, of Syracuse, was arrested and charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.

She was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Cicero Justice Court.

On Feb. 17, Phillip M. Eisinger, 48, of Syracuse, was arrested and charged with four counts of petit larceny, each a class A misdemeanor.

He was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Cicero Justice Court.

Also on Feb. 17, Nikerra S. Mathis, 24, of Syracuse, was arrested and charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.

She was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Cicero Justice Court.

All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
