JOHNSTON — Rhode Island State Police arrested a Central Falls woman Thursday night on a fraud charge following a traffic stop on Route 295.
Troopers took Elia Regalado, 47, into custody at 8:25 p.m. on an affidavit and arrest warrant for obtaining money under false pretenses – less than $1,000.
The warrant originated from the East Providence Police Department.
Regalado was transported to State Police Headquarters, where she was processed and turned over to East Providence police.
