FOXBOROUGH — A man was arrested Wednesday morning after leading Foxborough police on a high-speed pursuit following a traffic stop attempt, authorities said.
Officer Nagle observed a vehicle commit a motor vehicle violation and attempted to pull it over when the driver fled at a high rate of speed, police said.
The driver, identified as Manual Terry-Pires of Brockton, was arrested and charged with operating with a suspended license, operating recklessly, failure to stop for police, and multiple other motor vehicle violations.
Terry-Pires was ordered held without bail and transported to the Norfolk County House of Correction, where he remained overnight.
He appeared before a Wrentham District Court judge Thursday morning and pleaded not guilty.
Police said Sharon police, Walpole police, and the Massachusetts State Police assisted in the incident.
