RAMAPO — Two males were detained by the Town of Ramapo Police Department on Thursday following an attempted theft at a local Walmart.
The suspects were captured on footage by RAPTOR-1, one of the department’s D.F.R. drones, as they attempted to flee the store.
Both individuals are facing charges of larceny and possession of illegal drugs.
One of the suspects also had an active warrant out of the Stony Point Police Department for a prior larceny.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Jan. 16.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of the suspects.
