HIGHLAND — Town of Lloyd Police arrested five individuals on various charges, including petit larceny, drug possession, and driving offenses, between Feb. 7 and Feb. 14.
Michael D. James, 29, of Wallkill, was arrested Feb. 7 on a bench warrant for petit larceny and was also charged with third-degree bail jumping.
Police said James has been arrested 28 times previously.
He was transported to Ulster County Jail to await arraignment in Ulster County Centralized Arraignment Part Court.
Rodney Barnhill, 26, of New Windsor, was arrested Feb. 9 on an arrest warrant for petit larceny and sixth-degree conspiracy.
He is accused of stealing approximately $85 in merchandise from the Hannaford store in Highland.
Barnhill was taken to Ulster County Jail for arraignment.
Rasheed G. Williams, 42, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested Feb. 13 on an arrest warrant for driving while ability impaired, false personation, and second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, along with multiple vehicle and traffic violations.
He was transported to Ulster County Jail for arraignment.
Ashly N. Kaiser, 34, of Hyde Park, was arrested Feb. 13 on an arrest warrant for fifth-degree and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
She was taken to Ulster County Jail for arraignment.
Stacey M. Jacobs, 42, of Saugerties, was arrested Feb. 14 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and circumventing an interlock device.
Police said Jacobs was stopped on Route 9W in Highland for traffic violations.
She was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Lloyd Court on Feb. 18.
