FARMINGTON — A head-on collision on Route 11 on Tuesday afternoon left one person dead and two others injured, according to the Farmington Police Department.
The crash occurred at approximately 1:31 p.m. on Feb. 18, about 500 feet west of the intersection of Tappan Street.
It involved a passenger SUV and a commercial medium-duty truck.
The 29-year-old driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 55-year-old passenger in the SUV was transported to a hospital with critical injuries.
The 37-year-old driver of the truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to a hospital.
A 35-year-old passenger in the truck was uninjured.
The Farmington Police Department is investigating the crash with assistance from the Strafford County Technical Accident Reconstruction Team and the New Hampshire State Police.
