STAMFORD — A South Kortright man has been charged with second-degree harassment following an investigation by Delaware County sheriff’s deputies.
On Jan. 7, deputies responded to a harassment complaint in the town of Stamford.
Following their investigation, authorities alleged that 41-year-old Christopher Porter engaged in conduct that alarmed or annoyed another person without a legitimate purpose.
Deputies requested a criminal summons from Stamford Town Court.
On Feb. 16, the court issued the summons, and deputies arrested Porter on Feb. 17.
Porter was released on the summons and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Town Court at a later date.
