KILLINGTON — A two-vehicle crash occurred on US Route 4 near the intersection of Alpine Drive on Feb. 16 at approximately 10:58 a.m.
The crash involved a 2023 Toyota Tacoma, operated by Brian Nolan, 60, of Pittsford, and a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado, operated by Zachary Yashnyk, 29, of Farmingdale, N.Y.
According to Vermont State Police, Nolan was attempting to make a left-hand turn from a parking lot onto US Route 4 when he failed to yield to Yashnyk, who was traveling eastbound.
Nolan’s vehicle sustained significant driver-side damage, while Yashnyk’s truck had minor front-end damage.
Both operators were wearing seat belts, and no injuries were reported.
The crash occurred during snowy weather, with roads reported as snow-covered at the time.
Troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to the scene and were assisted by the Killington Fire Department.
