GOUVERNEUR — Two individuals were arrested on multiple drug-related charges following a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 11 on Feb. 6.
Jordan Halladay and Liana Meilleur were taken into custody by deputies from the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
Both face charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony, for narcotic drugs with intent to sell.
Additional charges include criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a class C felony, for possessing one gram or more of a stimulant.
Both were also charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia, specifically scales, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
Halladay was additionally charged with tampering with physical evidence, a class E felony, and issued a uniform traffic ticket for failure to keep right.
During the investigation, deputies seized 34 grams of cocaine, 4.66 grams of methamphetamine, 425 packets of fentanyl, and 1.2 grams of MDMA.
Both individuals were arraigned in Gouverneur Town Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
