ROYALTON — On Feb. 15 at approximately 6:51 p.m., the Vermont State Police – Royalton Barracks responded to a complaint of a vehicle failing to maintain its lane on VT Route 107 in Royalton.
Troopers located the vehicle shortly after on McCullough’s Run in Royalton.
The operator was identified as Jonathan Welch, 31, of Northfield.
During the investigation, Welch displayed signs of impairment.
He was arrested on suspicion of DUI drug and transported to the Royalton State Police Barracks for processing.
Welch was released on citation and is scheduled to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on April 29 at 8:30 a.m.
