CAVENDISH — Vermont State Police responded to a report of a family fight at a residence on Tarbell Hill Road on Feb. 14 at 11:57 p.m.
Officers determined that 41-year-old Ryan Trenholm of Cavendish had physically assaulted another family member.
Trenholm was arrested on a charge of domestic assault.
He was transported to the Westminster State Police Barracks for processing and later released with a criminal citation.
Trenholm is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division, on Feb. 18 at 12:30 p.m. to answer the charge.
