LINCOLN — Troopers arrested a 33-year-old man on multiple shoplifting warrants Thursday afternoon.
Matthew Neves, of 55 Wannisett Avenue, East Providence, was taken into custody at 2:11 p.m. on Feb. 13 at the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
Neves was wanted on an affidavit and arrest warrant for shoplifting issued by the Barrington Police Department, as well as a separate affidavit and arrest warrant for shoplifting from the East Providence Police Department.
Additionally, he faced two active bench warrants from Kent County Superior Court for failure to appear on shoplifting charges originating from the South Kingstown Police Department.
Neves was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.
