BOLTON — A physical altercation on Wentworth Road in Bolton led to the arrest of a local man on Feb. 12.
At approximately 9:11 a.m., troopers with the Vermont State Police Williston barracks were notified of a fight between two individuals.
An investigation revealed that John Tschernenko, 50, of Bolton, allegedly acted in a disorderly manner and physically assaulted Allen-Michael Ashline, 30, of St. Albans.
Tschernenko voluntarily reported to the Williston State Police barracks on Feb. 13 to speak with troopers.
Following the interview, he was issued a citation to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court at a later date to face charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct.
No further details about the incident were immediately released.
