AUBURN — Auburn police detectives recently identified a man suspected of delivering drugs to residents in the community.
On Monday, Feb. 10, detectives contacted the man and arranged to purchase drugs from him.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m., 35-year-old Nathan Concepcion of Worcester arrived in a vehicle at an address on Oxford Street North.
Detectives attempted to speak with Concepcion, but he immediately fled in his vehicle, tossing a bag of cocaine out during the pursuit.
Concepcion stopped a short distance away after noticing Auburn police patrol officers arriving to assist.
He was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, failing to stop for police, possession of a Class B substance (cocaine), and possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (cocaine).
Concepcion was held at the Auburn Police Department until he was released on $1,000 bail.
He was arraigned in Worcester District Court on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
He is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
