SOUTH WINDSOR — A Hartford woman was arrested early Monday morning after police said she operated a vehicle without permission and while under the influence of alcohol.

The South Windsor Police Department responded to a residence at 2:55 a.m. on Feb. 10 for reports of a vehicle being used without the owner’s consent.

At approximately 5:15 a.m., officers located and stopped the vehicle on Cody Circle.

The operator, identified as 34-year-old Amarilys Rivera-Rivera, was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol.

Rivera-Rivera consented to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which she failed, according to police.

She was taken into custody and processed.

Rivera-Rivera was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Feb. 26 at 9 a.m.
