Police seek help identifying man in connection with package theft in Brookline

BROOKLINE — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who may have been involved in a package theft on Jan. 31 in the Chestnut Hill Avenue area.

The individual arrived approximately 40 minutes after a FedEx delivery of an Apple iPhone.

He is described as an Asian male in his mid-to-late 40s, with a medium build, thick black hair showing some graying, and black square-rimmed glasses.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing a navy-blue jacket, black pants, and a beige shirt.

Detectives are urging anyone who recognizes the man to contact them.

The subject pictured is not currently wanted by police.
