MILFORD — On Friday, Dec. 27, 2024, the Milford Police Department received a report of fraud after a victim discovered an unauthorized withdrawal of $30,000 from their Fidelity Investments portfolio.
Through an investigation, Milford Police Detectives identified the principal suspect as Jonathan Moore, 34, of Staten Island, N.Y.
Detectives determined that Moore had made a $30,000 withdrawal one day after the funds were stolen from the victim’s account.
Due to the suspect’s believed location, Milford Police Detectives obtained a warrant with continental U.S. extradition.
On Feb. 10, Jonathan Moore was arrested by the New York Police Department and is awaiting extradition.
Moore faces charges of larceny over $1,200 and identity fraud.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
