SIMSBURY — On Feb. 9, around 5:54 p.m., the Simsbury Police Department received an emergency 911 call reporting a burglary in progress at 16 Stafford Road.
Simsbury officers responded to the residence and apprehended two suspects.
The homeowners were not present at the time of the incident.
The suspects were identified as Connor Poole, 23, of Andover, Massachusetts, and Eion McGee, 24, of Barkhamsted.
Both were charged with burglary in the third degree, conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree, and criminal mischief in the second degree.
The Simsbury Police Department thanked the Avon Police Department, Bloomfield Police Department, and Connecticut State Police for assisting in securing the scene after the suspects were taken into custody.
