BOSTON — Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a carjacking in Roxbury on Feb. 8 at approximately 2:08 p.m.
The incident occurred at 225 Dudley Street.
The suspect, described as a Black male, 19-20 years old, was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, green puffy vest, and gray sweatpants.
Authorities said the suspect attempted to enter a running vehicle with the victim’s children inside before fleeing through the backyards of Greenville Street.
Surveillance footage shows the suspect approaching from the Zeigler Street area prior to the incident.
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating.
