Man arrested following domestic disturbance in Arlington

ARLINGTON — A 33-year-old man was arrested early Saturday following a domestic disturbance in Arlington.

Troopers with the Vermont State Police responded to a residence on Vermont Route 7A at 3:02 a.m. after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance.

Through investigation, authorities determined that Cameron Ray of Arlington had threatened and caused physical pain to a family member.

Ray was arrested on charges of domestic assault and criminal threatening.

He was transported to the Shaftsbury Barracks for processing.

Ray was later released on conditions and ordered to appear in Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on Feb. 10 at 12:30 p.m.

The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.
