BERNARDSTON — Officers Zukowski and Dobosz responded to Keets Brook Road in Leyden at 12:35 p.m. today for a car down an embankment.
The operator and her dog Leo were not injured.
The officers helped them out of the car and contacted Kochs Towing to get the Subaru back on flat ground.
This crash could have been a lot worse.
While MADOT, Bernardston Highway and Leyden DPW all do great work in keeping the roads safe, some roads, by their nature, can be hazardous this time of year.
Please go slow when you are on a road with packed down snow, black ice or hard to see boundaries/edges.
