Boston police seek public’s help to identify suspects in dog larceny

BOSTON — Detectives assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) are asking for the public’s help in identifying individuals connected to the theft of a French Bulldog, named Bodega, in Dorchester.

The incident occurred at 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 5, when Bodega wandered away from the area of Ceylon Street and was picked up by two individuals on a scooter.

The suspects were last spotted with the dog near Quincy St & Ceylon St.

The Boston Police Department is examining the facts and circumstances of the case.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.

The department assures that the identities of informants who wish to remain anonymous will be protected.
