ARLINGTON — An Arlington man was taken into custody on charges of burglary and unlawful trespass after being caught on a private property, authorities said Monday.
Derek J. Klick, 40, of Sunderland, was arrested after troopers from the Shaftsbury Barracks responded to a burglary call at 7:54 a.m. on Feb. 3 at a residence on East Arlington Road.
Upon arrival, troopers discovered forced entry into an outbuilding on the property of Candace L.
Walsh, 39, of Arlington.
Klick was observed entering the property during the incident and had previously been trespassed from the location.
Klick was located and arrested on Feb. 4.
He was lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000.00 bail.
Klick is scheduled to appear before the Bennington Superior Court – Criminal Division on Feb. 5 at 12:30 p.m.
