WALTHAM — On Feb. 1 at 8:55 a.m., the Waltham Police Department responded to 54 Fourth Ave., the Hyatt House, for a report of shots fired overnight in a parking lot at that location.
Upon arrival, patrol officers discovered evidence of a firearm being discharged in the parking lot.
Waltham PD detectives arrived to assist and were later joined by Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services to process the scene for evidence.
Investigators believe the incident occurred around 3:40 a.m. on Feb. 1.
No injuries or property damage have been reported in connection with the incident.
Authorities believe the incident was isolated.
The Waltham Police Department Detective Bureau is continuing to investigate.
