STRAFFORD — Vermont State Police arrested a local woman on multiple charges, including her fifth DUI, after a minor two-vehicle crash near Coburns’ General Store on Jan. 31.
Troopers from the Royalton Barracks responded to the incident at approximately 5:25 p.m. Upon investigation, they determined that 61-year-old Teresa G. Farina had fled the scene after the crash.
Troopers located Farina shortly after the incident.
During the interaction, they observed signs of impairment.
The investigation confirmed that Farina was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol and with a criminally suspended license.
Farina was taken into custody and processed at the Royalton Barracks.
She was later released with a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Orange Criminal Division, on Feb. 19 at 8:30 a.m.
