SALEM — Detectives from the Salem Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, supported by the Patrol Division, carried out a search warrant on Jan. 31 at a residence on 14A Pope Street, resulting in the seizure of more than a kilogram of cocaine intended for sale and approximately $11,000 in cash.
The operation was the result of a month-long investigation into drug trafficking at the address.
Bryan Brito, 31, of Salem, was arrested without incident during the raid.
According to police, Brito is facing charges for Trafficking Class B Cocaine over 200 grams.
The substantial quantity of drugs and cash recovered highlights the department’s ongoing efforts to combat drug-related activities within the community.
