DERBY — A 23-year-old Derby woman sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash late Thursday evening on Hinman Settler Rd.
Vermont State Police reported that Faith LaCourse was driving a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle after cresting a hill around 9:49 p.m.
The Outlander slid off the right side of the snowy road and collided with a tree.
LaCourse, who was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident, suffered minor injuries.
She was transported by a family friend to North Country Hospital for treatment.
The Outlander sustained significant damage to the front end, including the passenger side headlight, fender, and tire.
Grenier’s Towing was called to the scene to assist.
Authorities remind drivers to exercise caution while driving in winter road conditions.
