WEST SPRINGFIELD — Following the arrest of Derrick Gaither by the Enfield Police Department on Jan. 29, the West Springfield Police Department is requesting community assistance as multiple complainants have emerged, with more continuing to come forward.
Gaither, who was previously known to reside on Spring Street, has been connected to several youths in West Springfield in recent years.
The investigation, led by the Enfield Police Department, has prompted local authorities to reach out for public support to gather more information about Gaither’s interactions with local adolescents.
The West Springfield Police Department urges anyone with knowledge of Gaither’s activities or associations to contact Detective Arslan at 263-3210 ext. 233 or Sgt. Svec at ext. 239 to aid in the ongoing investigation.
