KILLINGTON — Two women, Amber Harmon, 42, and Kristin Celentano, 48, face charges of retail theft following a series of shoplifting incidents in Killington.

The Killington Police Department responded to a report on Jan. 14 from Basecamp Outfitters about two subjects seen on surveillance footage stealing clothing items.

After the images were posted on the department’s Facebook page, community members and law enforcement officers identified Harmon and Celentano.

They were spotted leaving the area in a white Toyota Tacoma driven by an unidentified male.

On Jan. 15, First Stop Board Barn and Killington Sports also reported thefts and confirmed the identity of the women as the culprits.

Further investigation revealed that Harmon is currently on parole, and Celentano is on probation.

The Vermont Department of Corrections and Rutland Probation and Parole assisted in locating the women, who were subsequently cited to appear in court on three counts of retail theft each.

The police are still gathering information on the male driver and encourage anyone with knowledge to contact the Killington Police at 802-422-3200 or through Facebook messages.
