MORETOWN — On Jan. 31, at approximately 9:16 a.m., Troopers from the Berlin Barracks were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash on VT Route 100b in Moretown.
Upon arrival, Troopers found a 2022 Nissan Rogue with front-end damage and a 2016 Ford F-350 with rear-end damage.
The Nissan was operated by Jason Smith, 47, of Waitsfield, and the Ford was operated by Chad Niquette, 44, of Berlin.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the incident, and neither sustained injuries.
The Vermont State Police were supported at the scene by the Mad River Valley Ambulance and Moretown Fire Department.
The cloudy weather and dry road conditions were noted, and the cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
Traffic flow was temporarily affected as emergency services worked at the scene.
