PAWTUCKET — In a string of early morning arrests on Jan. 31, Rhode Island State Troopers took four individuals into custody on a variety of charges, including repeat violations of a no contact order, obstruction, vandalism, and driving under the influence.
At 1:32 a.m., Troopers stopped a vehicle on Smithfield Avenue, resulting in the arrest of Jacob Perry, 34, of Providence, for allegedly violating a no contact order for the third time or more.
Perry was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight, awaiting arraignment as a probation violator at the Sixth Division District Court.
Simultaneously, Stephanie Potter, 33, also of Providence, was arrested during the same vehicle stop for obstructing an officer and vandalism.
Potter was held at headquarters pending her arraignment at the same court.
Shortly after, at 1:47 a.m., Dylan James Dessaint, 23, of Warwick, was arrested for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol concentration of .15 or greater after Troopers responded to a disabled vehicle on Route 146 in Lincoln.
Dessaint’s BAC was recorded at .182% in both phases of testing.
He was arraigned and released to a responsible adult.
Finally, at 5:15 a.m., Ferney Sepulveda Orrego, 51, of Providence, was arrested for obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct following a barracks investigation and his location by the Central Falls Police Department.
Sepulveda Orrego was released with a future court date after arraignment.
