MONT VERNON — Police arrested a man on Jan. 31 after responding to a disturbance and reports of an armed individual in the area.
At approximately 6:45 a.m., Mont Vernon Police Department officers were called to a residence on First Street due to a disturbance.
During their investigation, they received multiple 911 calls about a male subject moving through backyards near Third Street, wielding two large knives.
The Milford Police Department was requested to assist in the search and deployed their drone, while a K-9 unit was called in from the Peterborough Police Department to aid in the effort.
The suspect, identified as 46-year-old Marcell Caron, was apprehended near the Milford/Mont Vernon Town Line.
Caron has been charged with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, and breach of bail conditions.
Following his arrest, Caron was held on preventative detention and transported to the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections.
