BOSTON — A person was shot and later died at the intersection of Morton Street and W Selden Street in Mattapan, prompting a death investigation by Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:31 p.m., on Thursday, when officers responded to a radio call for a person shot.
Boston EMS had already arrived on scene and transported the victim to Boston Medical Center, where the individual was pronounced deceased.
Authorities are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
