EXETER — Two individuals were arrested Wednesday in separate incidents, one involving forgery and the other disorderly conduct, according to the Rhode Island State Police.
At 2:54 p.m., Troopers from the Hope Valley Barracks apprehended Amilcar Sandoval Juarez, 26, of Stapleton, Alabama, during a traffic stop on Route 95 South.
Juarez was charged with forgery and counterfeiting of registration plates and providing a false document to a public official.
Following the arrest, he was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a summons to appear in Fourth Division District Court.
Later that day, at 4:20 p.m., Christopher Vieira, 33, of Cranston, Rhode Island, was arrested for disorderly conduct—specifically, fighting and tumultuous behavior—after troopers were called to the Washington County Courthouse for a disturbance.
Vieira, who was initially taken into custody by the Rhode Island Sheriff’s Department, was also processed at the Hope Valley Barracks.
He was arraigned as a bail violator and subsequently transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center.
