BOSTON — The Boston Police Department issued a missing person alert Monday, seeking assistance from the public to locate 57-year-old Alba Fernandez of East Boston, who has been missing since Jan. 27.
Fernandez, described as a white Hispanic female standing 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair, was last heard from around 6:30 p.m. on the day of her disappearance.
She is known to have mental health complications and is known to frequent areas near Logan Airport, the East Boston Library, and Bremen Street Park.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on Fernandez’s whereabouts to contact 911 or A-7 detectives at 617-343-4808.
