SPRINGFIELD — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a 36-year-old man after Springfield police officers discovered a large-capacity firearm and a significant amount of cocaine on Monday night.

Additional charges include two counts of possession of a high-capacity magazine/feeding device, possession of ammunition without an FID card, carrying a loaded large capacity firearm on a public way, possession of a covert/undetectable firearm, and trafficking cocaine between 36 to 100 grams.
