PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island law enforcement agencies made several arrests on Jan. 23 in unrelated cases involving domestic violence, fraud and drug charges.
The Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Stephen Mancini, 36, of Cranston, on warrants for domestic cyberstalking and violating a domestic violence protection order.
Mancini was taken into custody without incident and turned over to Warwick police.
In a separate case, the Financial Crimes Unit arrested April Ferns, 53, of Exeter, on multiple charges including obtaining property by false pretenses, identity fraud and accessing a computer for fraudulent purposes.
Ferns was released on $10,000 personal recognizance.
Members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested John Minaya, 31, of Warwick, on numerous drug-related charges including possession with intent to deliver cocaine, crack cocaine and fentanyl.
Minaya also faces firearms charges.
He was held at the ACI Intake Center pending arraignment.
In another financial crimes case, George Schuellein, 64, of Coventry, was arrested on two counts each of bank fraud and obtaining money by false pretenses.
Schuellein was released on $20,000 personal recognizance.
All arrests occurred on Jan. 23.
