PROVIDENCE — In a series of coordinated law enforcement actions, individuals in Rhode Island were arrested on January 14 on various charges, including federal probation violation and drug trafficking.

Alex Bradley, 45, was apprehended by the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force on a Federal Arrest Warrant for Violation of Probation stemming from an original charge of bomb threats.

Bradley, whose last known address was in Johnston, was taken into custody and handed over to the United States Marshals Service before being transported to the Rhode Island Federal Courthouse.

In a separate operation, the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force, with support from the United States Postal Inspection Service, arrested Abraham Rahed, 47, and Nelson Rahed, 24, both of Coventry.

Each faced multiple drug-related charges, including possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, Adderall, and Suboxone, as well as controlled substance conspiracy.

Both were processed at the Lincoln Barracks and arraigned in Third Division District Court, where they were ordered held without bail.
