FALL RIVER — A man was arrested last evening following a search warrant executed at an East Main Street residence in connection with two recent armed robberies, according to the Fall River Police Department.
The operation, led by Detective Joshua Pelletier of the Major Case Division, targeted the suspected perpetrator of the robberies at a Walgreens on South Main Street and a Dunkin Donuts on Globe Street.
The Emergency Services Unit and Community Action and Suppression Team (CAST) provided assistance during the search.
Authorities recovered a replica firearm, air pistol, ammunition, and other evidence at the scene, which linked Richard Archambault to the crimes.
Archambault was taken into custody and is facing charges related to the armed robberies.
The Fall River Police Department praised the Major Case Division for their dedication and success in resolving these cases.
