WATERFORD — Police are seeking assistance in identifying one of two suspects involved in the Charter Oak bank robbery that occurred last Friday on Boston Post Road.
Authorities released a photo of the suspect, urging the public to note a distinctive mark on the subject’s left cheek.
The suspects were reported to have been dressed in dark clothing and were seen traveling to and from the bank in the direction of Bank Street and Beckwith Street in New London.
The Waterford Police Department continues its investigation and encourages anyone with information regarding the identity of the individual pictured to contact Detective O’Connell at 860-442-9451 ext. 2313 or via email at [email protected].
An anonymous tip line is also available at 860-437-8080 for those who wish to provide information without disclosing their identity.
In response to this incident and a previous robbery, residents will notice an increased police presence in the area.
