FAIR HAVEN — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of N. Park Place and W. Park Place on Jan. 12.
According to the Fair Haven Police Department, the vehicle was traveling south at a high rate of speed when it lost control on the snowy roads, striking a lamp post and road sign.
After the collision, the vehicle fled the scene.
The police report indicates the vehicle likely sustained significant damage to its right side.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the crash to come forward.
