ST. JOHNSBURY — A single-vehicle crash on VT Route 25 led to the arrest of a New Hampshire woman on charges of driving under the influence on Jan. 12.
Josee Pheace, 38, of Wentworth, NH, was taken into custody after troopers, who responded to the scene at about 6:59 p.m., observed signs of impairment.
The Vermont State Police reported that Pheace was the operator of the vehicle involved in the accident in the Town of Topsham.
Following an investigation at the site of the crash, authorities determined that Pheace had been driving the vehicle while impaired.
She was transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing and subsequently released with a citation.
Pheace is scheduled to appear in the Orange County Superior Court Criminal Division on Jan. 29 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the DUI charge.
