Vermont State Police seek public’s help in locating man wanted on felony charges

SHAFTSBURY — The Vermont State Police have issued a call for public assistance in the search for Todd A.

Thompson, wanted on multiple felony charges including aggravated sexual assault.

Thompson, 48, from Shaftsbury, is also facing charges for aggravated stalking with a deadly weapon and first-degree aggravated domestic assault following an incident in late December.

Efforts by the Shaftsbury Barracks troopers to find Thompson have so far been unsuccessful.

He is believed to have connections in Shaftsbury, Bennington, and the White Creek, New York area.

The police urge anyone with information about Thompson’s whereabouts to contact the Shaftsbury Barracks at 802-442-5421.
