BOW — A two-vehicle collision early this morning has resulted in serious but non-life-threatening injuries for one driver and significant disruptions along Clinton Street.
At around 4:30 a.m., Bow Police were called to the scene near the intersection of Clinton Street and Evergreen Drive where they discovered the aftermath of the crash.
The collision forced the closure of Clinton Street for about an hour, as emergency crews labored to clear the wreckage, fallen powerlines, and debris.
The affected driver was transported to Concord Hospital by the Bow Fire Department.
Meanwhile, residents on Evergreen Drive were notified that power would be out for several hours as Unitil technicians worked to restore service.
Clinton Street has since been partially reopened, operating with a single lane to facilitate ongoing repair efforts.
Commuters faced delays and diversions, with traffic being redirected by the combined efforts of Concord, Hopkinton, and Dunbarton Police Departments.
Authorities have not yet released the cause of the crash and the investigation is ongoing.
