GEORGIA — A teen driver was treated for minor injuries after his vehicle rolled over on Interstate 89 South near mile marker 108.6 early this morning in snowy conditions, Vermont State Police reported.

The accident occurred at approximately 4:39 a.m., when the teen, who was wearing his seat belt, attempted to pass another vehicle.

The other vehicle, details of which are still unknown, swerved or lost control, forcing Taylor’s 2016 Ford Taurus into an object on the road and causing it to veer off into the median where it rolled over.

The Ford Taurus was totaled in the crash.

He was transported to Northwest Medical Center in St. Albans where he received treatment for his injuries.

Authorities said that both speed and the snowy road conditions might have contributed to the accident.

No charges have been filed at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
