SPRINGFIELD — A 33-year-old Springfield man was cited for unlawful trespass and retail theft after an incident at Shaw’s Supermarket last month, police said.
Springfield Police Department officers responded to a call at the supermarket on Springfield Plaza Road at about 12:53 p.m. on Dec. 24 for a report of theft and trespassing.
Nicholas Ragucci was identified as the individual who had allegedly violated a no trespass order and stolen items from the store.
Following an investigation by Officers Singleton and Lewis-Briere, Ragucci was located and issued a criminal citation.
He is scheduled to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on March 11 to respond to the charges.
The police emphasized that matters related to bail and incarceration are handled by the Judicial System, not the police department.
