HINESBURG — A single-vehicle incident late Saturday night led to the arrest of a Colchester man on charges of driving under the influence.
Vermont State Police responded to a call at 1166 Pond Road around 7:55 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a 2019 Tesla Model 3 without any notable damage and no reported injuries.
The driver, Mike Gibbons, 61, was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Troopers observed signs of impairment while interacting with Gibbons.
He was taken to the Williston Barracks for further processing.
After the completion of processing, Gibbons was cited to appear at the Chittenden County Superior Court on Jan. 30 at 8:30 a.m. for the DUI charge.
